BE HOME FOR SPECIAL CARE .PENANG was established in 2019.
We are a non-profit NGO that does not charge any fees and operate entirely through the generous donations and support of the public.
We believe that true compassion is shown through action.
At Mei Jia Yuan, love is our foundation and action is our strength —
we accompany and support every underprivileged individual,
creating a place where they can feel warmth, care, and a sense of home.
Although we cannot choose the circumstances of our birth,
we can choose to see and love every special individual
with equality, respect, and kindness.
At present, Mei Jia Yuan is home to 31 underprivileged residents,
aged between 14 and 55 years old,
and we continue to care for them each day
with love, patience, and compassion.
